Yes, I am definitely a patriot. Patriotism means not limit to proud of our country, culture and values. it can include all thought and believeness of every person, religion community who live in particular country. So i think every person are patriot if he/ she live in democratic society.
For me and my community, patriotism does not mean being a part of the army and fighting in war, a part of politics and making slogans for protests. Patriotism means doing something good and faith for our soil in which we live, on which we are grow and in future also dies.
Patriotism means not only respect our constitution. Also Respect our laws and work under law and constitution. if any time we find any loop hole or error So trying to correction in constitution and laws on applicable time because it is require for me an my society. it is also our responsibility. We should co-operate our government. We should always be careful that we do not hurt anyone in our country.
Doing all type work that will bring honor to the our country, driving carefully, obeying traffic rules, obeying signals, avoiding wastage by using electricity properly, avoiding wastage of water, avoiding wastage of our resources, Conservation of historical forts and places, Implementation of river cleaning campaign is patriotism for me and my community.
Patriotism also apply on employees. Patriotism for employees in government offices doing their work according to the rules and do not any take bribes for it. Taking care of our environment, paying taxes on time is patriotism and our responsibility. Farmers getting huge income from their land and meeting food needs of the country is also patriotism. Voting to choose the best candidate as a responsible citizen also patriotism.
